A voyage of musical rediscovery, unique retrospectives & cultural phenomena.

Café Barbarella is an eclectic celebration of then & now: counter culture, retro & musical discourse with an edge…

Where will the retro rocket take you?

Barbarella: 'A good many dramatic situations begin with screaming.'

Oh, and personal freedoms and privacy discarded, we also now have an email and facebook page dear listeners: [email protected] and Cafe Barbarella Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/CafeBarbarellaBAYFM)...and technologically inclined Barbarellites, we also tweet AND now have a Soundcloud page, for your absolute convenience xxx LOVE xxx

Bio: Mr Vince is an academic, professional musician, composer and writer.  Indeed, Mr Vince was an integral part of the Melbourne and London music scenes throughout the 80's & 90's performing both solo and in a range of studio settings as a session musician and in a plethora of big ticket bands of the time; represented by premier agents and receiving significant accolades for his dedication to the Australian music scene.

He now lives in the beautiful Northern Rivers region of Northern NSW near Byron Bay, in an old beach/farm house; right between the ocean and river, with his three beautiful fur children: Miss Florence Rottweiler (5...she hates her age being disclosed), Mr Floyd Rottweiler (4) and last but definitely not least, Mr Frankie the Great Dane (the BIG baby in the family at a mere 2 years of age).

Mr Vince is a mad vinyl collector as well as collecting guitars, glass and retro memorabilia. He shuns human company, preferring the company of his fur children, girl friend chickens and cabbages.  He regularly sits on the deck of his farm, rocking and contemplating Barbarellite world domination while reminiscing his musical career; simultaneously preserving lemons & jams and knitting Alpaca quilts.  He remains dedicated to redressing social injustice.  His heart is full! xxx
